We know you have questions, and we have answers! If you don’t see an answer to a question you may have, please contact us.
Can I bring my dog with me?
We ask that you keep your four-pawed loved ones at home. We love animals too but, you could imagine that, having possibly 100’s of dogs at the festival could create distractions and safety issues. Doggos also would love to ‘leave their mark’ on a pristine sod farm, which would get gross, especially if you step or sit in it. But then again, we could just call you ‘stinky’ for the rest of the festival.
Should I bring my own chairs?
YES! Bring whatever your keester wants to sit on. Think of it this way. A Sod Farm is a vary large manicured lawn so lawn chairs and blankets are great but leave the Lay-Z-boy at home.
Will there be food and drinks for sale at the event?
INDEED! We have partnered with several food truck vendors to bring their menus to the event. We will also have a beer truck from one of our breweries at the event for your drinking pleasure. In addition, we have partnered with a local liquor vendor to bring a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale. We probably don’t have to say this, but please drink responsibly, and if you go too far, we may have to use you for fertilizer for next year. Because of liability reasons, We ask that you not bring alcoholic beverages into the event.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you can bring your own vittles however we do ask that you patronize our food trucks as those vendors have worked hard to provide for our guests. Also, make sure to pick up after yourselves as our volunteers would appreciate less picking up at the end of the evening.
Can I bring coolers?
Yes. Just keep them close by wherever you set up your sitting area. If they are not being used, we ask that you store them in your vehicle.
What time can I show up?
Well, we don’t think you’ll want to camp out or anything. But the entrance gates don’t open until 2 pm so anytime after that would be great. If you show up to early, you may get roped into volunteering!
Will there be bathrooms available?
Yes. There will be Port-A-Johns there as well as a hand washing station and handicap accessible one. There are no indoor, permanent facilities available for relief. Even though there are bushes and trees around and you might be tempted, please use the provided port-a-johns.
Can I bring a popup canopy or sun umbrella?
It’s summer, it’s hot, and there isn’t a lot of shade on a sod farm. So, YES you can bring a canopy or umbrella, however, we ask that you don’t set them up in the middle of the field or right in front of the stage. Remember, there are many people that want to see the artists and having a circus tent with monkeys in front of them doesn’t lead to a good view… unless they like monkeys.
Can I bring my own alcoholic drinks?
No. Because of liability, we are not allowed to have our patrons bring in their own alcoholic drinks. We will have a beer truck and local liquor store supplying a variety of beverages for your enjoyment.
